Daycare Policies

Daycare at Dog Day Afternoon includes a number of playrooms, filled with fun and interesting toys. Each dog is provided with his or her own crate should down time be required. All dogs will be walked outside for a potty break twice a day, and given as much water as desired.

Rates & Packages

Rates: $33 per day or $22 per half day (5 hours or less)

Packages: 5 days: $160; 10 days: $315; 20 days: $545

Hours: M–F 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sat. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Vaccinations

We require a copy of your dog’s vaccination record before your dog can “stay and play.” If we do not have these records at the time of check-in, we will not allow your dog to stay.

Please be sure to obtain a copy of your vaccination record from your veterinarian, or have them email the records to us before you arrive.

Required immunizations include:

Rabies
Distemper
Parvo Virus
Bordatella (Kennel Cough)

Make sure you confirm we have received your vaccination records from your veterinarian before your first visit.

Food & Medication: If your dog needs lunch while here, be sure to bring food in a container or baggie clearly labeled with your dog’s name. We will maintain your feeding schedule with your
supplies.
- Make sure you bring any medication your dog may require as we will gladly administer it on schedule, free of charge.
- Please advise the staff of any allergies, dietary restrictions or special concerns your dog may have.
Collar & Leash: All dogs must be wearing a quick-release flat collar. While training collars are a wonderful thing while on leash, for your pet’s safety, we do not allow them to be worn during play time. Therefore, a flat collar is necessary when introducing and removing your dog from a play area.
- All dogs must enter the building on a leash. If you use a flexi or extendable leash, please shorten and lock it!
- Please make sure that all leashes and collars are labeled with your dog’s name; many look the same.
Please allow enough time in the morning to potty your dog out back in the potty area before entering.
Children 16 and under are not permitted inside the facility without an adult.
In-Season Females are not permitted in daycare. If your dog is an unspayed female, please verify with the staff when it will be safe for your dog to return.
INTACT MALES of mature age MUST have a reservation.

Late Pick-Up

All dogs must be picked up by 7 p.m. each weeknight, and by 5 p.m. on Saturdays. Although we understand extenuating circumstances may prevent you from picking up on time, habitual tardiness may result in an additional fee of $50.
