Mission Statement
While Dog Day Afternoon does not have a formal, published mission statement for our business, it is not unusual to hear employees mention over and over throughout the day, “It’s all about the dogs!” which sums it up perfectly. Well it’s actually about the dogs and their owners but our focus is about improving the relationship between the dogs and their families. DDA is not a cookie cutter, big box dog related business but rather a go-to place for dog owners to have their needs met from A to Z on a personal, individualized basis.
Most importantly, we realize that if we do a great job in training, day care, advice or even fielding questions on the phone, we may just be starting a sequence, which will enhance the owner/pet relationship and give the owners the desire to make their pet ownership a more positive thing in their life. Ultimately, doing a great job of this will keep many pets out of our local shelters and will produce a pet that owners and their families can be truly proud of.
